North Hop x Pitmedden Garden : Secret Garden Experience - THIS WEEKEND!
Tuesday 16th July 2019
And like a flash, it's summer, the holidays have started, the sun is shining (well most of the time!) and it's time to get zen with our awesome plant-based wellness fest, the Secret Garden Experience at the stunning Pitmedden Garden this weekend (20/21 July)!
This special event is part of our Summer Events Programme collaboration with the National Trust for Scotland and will feature lots of lovely plant based street food vendors and market traders, local makers, and some fun pop-up bars with gin, wild Scottish spirit, cocktails, beer, fizz and cider, which will be housed in our rather fun Mad Hatters Boozy Tea Tent!
The event will also feature wellness activities (see below) and is a great opportunity to discover and explore these beautiful historic gardens.
Although most of the set up will be outdoors, we do have some covered seating areas for taking shelter from passing showers, and a lovely chill-out teepee from Under the Teepee to hide away in!
Below we have given a bit of a summary of all key FAQs, our awesome vendors and of course how to get in on the action. See you at Pitmedden Garden this weekend for some garden fun!

Cash is Key: Mobile signal is limited and wi-fi is non-existent at Pitmedden Garden so most exhibitors will be working on a cash only basis (unless they strike it lucky with their stand positioning and mobile signal!) so we recommend taking cash with you as there are no cash machines within the close vicinity.
Dogs: Unfortunately dogs are not allowed into this event due to the set up of the garden, sorry!
Children: This event is definitely more orientated towards adults but kids are more than welcome to attend. A special kids teepee by Under the Teepee will be set up in the garden with some colouring books, etc to keep them occupied, and we will have some giant garden games set up on the top lawn for all to enjoy. The garden is also great for some picnic adventures with the wee ones, with lots of yummy food & drink on site to make one up from!
Activities: We are delighted to be working with Melissa from Third Eye to run outdoor yoga and guided mediation sessions throughout the weekend. These sessions are free to attend but are limited in numbers and will be worked on a first come, first served basis! There will be Vinyasa Flow Yoga classes 12pm till 1pm, and 2pm till 3pm each day, with a guided mediation taking place at 1.30pm. Please feel free to take along your own yoga mats for the classes and blankets for the meditation.
Picnic Rugs & Chairs: Although we will have some garden rugs and lovely seating areas on site we are more than happy for you to bring along your own picnic rugs and camping chairs for the day.
Guided Garden Tours: The only way you can enjoy a guided tour of the garden (we would highly recommend!) is by grabbing one of our special VIP tickets (see above)!
