A New Era in the Events World - What would YOU like to see?

It's been almost a whole year since we did our last blog post and what a year it has been! Now it's not that there hasn't been anything positive to say, the pandemic certainly hasn't been fun but it has brought about some awesome new collaborations, some exciting new businesses and a new way on how we look at and approach food and drink. It has been amazing to see such a strong focus on the 'support local' message, something we have been pushing strongly, pretty much since the day North Hop began!
So, as we move through the first quarter of 2021 we are oh so close to seeing some of our favourite hospitality businesses re-open their doors (hopefully for good this time 🤞), and we will soon be able to have those long awaited meet ups with friends and family, but what about events?
As far as Scottish Government guidelines go we are yet to get full clarity on what events will look like moving forward. Whatever the news is on that front there's no doubt that numbers will be restricted for the foreseeable and social distancing/mask wearing will still play a part, but hopefully events will still be possible, we might just need to get a bit more creative with them. So whilst we wait for clearer guidance what we want to know is what would you, the attendees, the vendors, the suppliers like to see?
At North Hop we are kinda working with a blank canvas at the moment...no set plans and no commitments, but lots of passion, enthusiasm, and the knowledge/contacts, so we are ready and waiting to do something new and fun, launching a new era for events in Scotland!
