Dr. Wook & The Voltaic Disorder

Kris Douglas is a seasoned performer whose artistry represents 'music from the soul'. Former frontman for popular Folk/Rock'n'Roll festival stalwarts The Whiskys, his creativity has carved itself a new niche under the moniker 'Dr Wook'.

A veteran of festivals including Belladrum Tartan Heart and Jocktoberfest, Kris is known for his raw and passionate songwriting style.

He has spent the last year playing with some of the UK's most celebrated singer-songwriters – including Ben Ottewell (Gomez), Mark Morriss (The Bluetones), and Michael Cassidy – along with a host of Highland contemporaries.

And his musical output and ceaseless gigging led to a nomination for Best Acoustic Act at the Scottish Alternative Music Awards 2015.

With his release of the Streetcrawler E.P this year on the IMOUT Records Label, Kris has enlisted the help of his IMOUT brethren to form Dr. Wook and The Voltaic Disorder.
